Who Am I?

I'm Rev. Aaron Hoyt, an Ordained Minister, and I'd be honored to perform your wedding ceremony, or any other ceremony that would be enhanced with the presence of an ordained minister. Whether you are planning an elaborate affair or casual gathering, I will do all I can to provide you the most enjoyable and memorable ceremony in celebration of your love.

Perhaps you should know a little about me. I was born and raised in Indiana, and I moved to Arkansas in 1979. I graduated from a small, private Catholic school, and attended Christian Brothers College in Memphis, TN, for a year before taking some time to serve my country in the Army. I spent two years in Germany, and returned to Arkansas to finish up my Bachelor's Degree in Physical Science at the University of Central Arkansas in 1992. I am currently pursuing a Masters of Education degree in Learning Systems Technology at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

I began my ministry in May of 2003, when I was ordained by the Universal Life Church. I then began to study the ways I could use my ordination to benefit others while also making my own life more robust and fulfilling. The concept of Minister In A Minute was born after I heard time and time again of how people would obtain their marriage license at the local court house, and then be given a generic list of the local Justice of the Peace officers. This was a cold and impersonal way to celebrate one of the most important days in a couple's life.

My ceremonies are joyful, heartfelt, and meaningful. They are customized for people of all religious backgrounds and ethnicities. I unconditionally accept who and what you are, and I offer total flexibility in helping couples personalize their special day in any way they want. Building on the values of each couple's honored past, looking toward a promising future, and drawing on present meaning and wishes, I can provide a well-planned moment of joy and spiritual warmth that you will remember forever.

I would like couples to seek out my services because they don't belong to a church; they want more that just a legal ceremony; they have different faiths/beliefs; they have a pastor that is unable to perform their ceremony; their church does not accept divorce; they want a unique and personal ceremony; they want to include the children; they want the ceremony at an unusual or non-traditional location; they need a minister to co-officiate with another minister; they want a non-denominational spiritual ceremony; and/or they want more than the 5 minute special from the Justice of Peace or Magistrate.
